Through this communiqué, we declare the
founding of the Worker-communist Party of
Kurdistan.
The Worker-communist Party of Kurdistan is
the instrument of the working class, for
liberation from the oppression of capitalism
and for achieving freedom and equality.
The Worker-communist Party of Kurdistan is a
Marxist party which considers organising the
social revolution of the working class to
abolish the capitalist system and establish
a new society based on freedom, economic and
social equality and the development of the
material and spiritual creative powers of
human beings as its inherent and immediate
goal. The WPK is an internationalist
organization. Struggling to strengthen the
international solidarity of the working
class is one of its fundamental features.
The WPK is profoundly separate from
nationalism in all aspects and it vigorously
struggles against imposing false national
identities on people and categorising or
pushing them into conflicts based on ethnic
and religious affiliations.
In order to realize the “Better World”
programme and to become an instrument to
implement the rule of the working class and
the masses of people, the WPK considers the
struggle to seize political power as a
fundamental basis of its daily political and
practical activity.
In Kurdistan, the WPK strives to bring the
working class, as a powerful social and
political force to the forefront, to
organise the social revolution and establish
and consolidate workers’ rule i.e: the
socialist republic and the introduction of
the “Better World” programme. Achieving this
goal will set free not only the working
class but also the whole of humanity from
the oppression and slavery of capitalism.
The WPK calls upon all communists and the
leaders and vanguards of the workers’
movement, protest movements, liberation and
egalitarian women’s movement, liberation
movement of the youth and the left-wing
personalities and groups to join it.
