The world, particularly Europe, was left in
shock after the horrific terrorist operation
carried out in the Norwegian capital Oslo
and the Island of Utoeya by the 32-year Old
Norwegian, Anders Behring Breivik. This
terrorist operation, with neo-Nazis
inclination, confirms again that terrorism
at large is one of the results of the
dominance of the decaying capitalist system
and its rule at the global level where wars,
destruction, poverty, unemployment,
religious & national bigotry, hypocrisy &
deception, the production & reproduction of
outdated and backward ideas, traditions and
ethics prevail.
After the terrorist operation in Norway, on
22nd July 2011, the world map of terrorism
and terrorists changed. This operation has
confirmed that the Islamic terrorism, Nazi
terrorism and the neo- right terrorism are
all inspired by the capitalist system itself
and the destruction that it brings about on
political, intellectual and ethical levels.
The terrorism of political Islam and the
terrorism of the neo-right are the twins
born from the womb of this decaying system
antagonist to human being. Islam and
Christianity are frameworks for the
manifestation of terrorist destruction. Both
of them are the products of the prevailing
system and the alienation of human being
under its rule.
The bourgeois class and its movements and
parties including nationalist, Christian and
social-democrat are unable to stand with
determination and decisiveness against this
terrorist attack and terrorism at large, as
shown by the experience of the last several
years on global or European level. The only
force capable of liberating society from the
clutches of the capitalist system, its
terrorism, poverty, unemployment,
destruction, wars and hatred, is the united
working class and its vanguard party through
seizing power and building socialism as an
alternative to the capitalist system.
The Worker-communist Party of Iraq-WPIraq
strongly condemns this terrorist operation
and expresses its condolences to the
families and friends of the victims, the
Norwegian society and wishes a speedy
recovery for the injured people.
