To Freedom-loving people worldwide

Support our campaign to thwart the game due to be organized under the name of the elections.

A large game is supposed to be organized in Iraq after few weeks called the elections in Iraq. It is obvious that the intention of America and its allies behind this farce is to impose a reactionary Islamic and ethnocentric puppet government and state to sustain the tragedy caused by the US war on Iraq. The intention is to implement the USA planes, add a form of legality to its permanent existence in Iraq and the region and to give credibility to the claim that the people in Iraq asks the USA forces to stay in Iraq through their elected government.

 This process-game lacks the basic terms and standards needed for holding any elections. It is carried out amid conditions, where the minimum terms necessary for the masses of people to cast their votes without coercion or fear are absent. On the one hand Islamic and nationalist militias rule majority of Iraq where the basic social and political freedoms are absent and where socialist and leftist organizations and parties are oppressed and their activity banned. On the other hand the pro-USA parties control all resources and media outlets in the society and people and opposition parties and trends, which oppose the USA existence in Iraq, are not allowed to use media outlet and benefit from the country’s resources to address the masses. The brutality of religious and ethnocentric militia, beside the catastrophic security situation and terrorist threats has left no opportunity before the masses to choose their alternative. Iraq has become a battlefield for a war between American and Islamic terrorism and the Iraqi masses are constant victims caught amid the fire between both these terrorist forces. The elections game is a step to deepen and sustain this terrorist war.

 Our party has struggled to prepare the conditions required for the masses of people to choose the coming political regime in Iraq without any coercion or fear. When America and its allies posed the issue of elections in Iraq, our party stressed the necessity of having a climate where the masses can participate freely and consciously in these elections so that the outcome is the real expression of their votes and their political election. However, America and its allies from Islamist and nationalists wanted  to deceit  and mislead  the masses of people and impose on them a hoax process whose results has been determined in advance to serve the reactionary projects of America.

Today, it is obvious that the so-called elections will be another chapter of the unfolding dark scenario in Iraq. It will prepare the atmosphere for eruption of sectarian and ethnic conflicts, which increase the possibility of the disintegration of the society.

 While we call on the masses of people in Iraq to boycott this hoax game and struggle to thwart and exposed it, we call on freedom-loving people worldwide to stand by the people of Iraq to expose this game and its reactionary essence.  And to support them in their struggle to end the current catastrophic conditions by expelling the USA forces and curbing the influence of political Islam and establishing a secular non nationalist state based on the willpower of people so that it can rebuild the civility and guarantee bread, security and freedom for the masses of people.

 I call the freedom-loving people, socialist, progressive and labour organizations and parties and defenders of human rights worldwide to participate in the rallies due to be organized in their countries by the organizations of our party and freedom-loving people. I call on them to support the Worker-communist Party of Iraq and the liberationist front in Iraq politically and materially.
